Portraitist since 1992, Denis Rouvre began his career photographing celebrities for the magazine press (New York Time, Télérama, Le Monde, Liberation, Time, Guardian, Der Spiegel). For 15 years, he has been working on personal projects around the figure of the contemporary hero. Denis had his work exhibited on numerous occasions (Rencontres d'arles, Paris Photo, Pinacothèque de Paris etc). He published 9 monographic books and was awarded 3 World Press awards, a Sony World Photography award and a Hasselblad Master award.
